Fields living in the universe can be decomposed into eigenmodes, determined by the\u00a0 geometry and topology.\u00a0 However, only the simplest cases can be done analytically.\u00a0 Attention has focused on these cases largely for that reason. An attempt will be made to\u00a0 numerically solve for the gravitational potential in 5+1 and 6+1 dimensional universes\u00a0 which factorize into 3+1 dimensional “ordinary spacetime” and 2 or 3d extra-dimensional\u00a0 manifolds, including manifold factors with curvature.
