This senior project is aimed at developing physical vapor deposition, transfer printing, and other related techniques for making ultra thin semiconducting membrane structures, which have potential to be engineered into transducers and sensors (e.g., gas sensors or single-particle detectors) on chip to enable functional integrated microsystems.
